Annual Tropical Fish Auction.
From the North end of the I-476, Blue Route heading south:
1. Take Exit 5 US-1 Expressway to Springfield/Lima
and stay to the left on the off ramp.
2. At the second light turn left to US-1 Expressway towards Springfield (North)
3. Merge to the left but stay in the right hand lane once you are on the US-1
Expressway.
4. Once on US-1 Expressway you will go under Rt. 320 and stay to the right
to the second traffic light (Springfield Rd) after the overpass.
5. Turn right on W. Springfield Rd, which will turn into E. Springfield Rd.
6. Shortly after crossing the trolley tracks (Media 101 line) turn right on
to Powell Road. The Springfield Police/Township building will be on your right.
From the South end of I-476, Blue Route heading north:
1. Take Exit 5 US-1 Expressway to Springfield/Lima
and bearing right on the off ramp. This will take you right to US-1 Expressway
towards Springfield (North)
2. Now follow the same instructions above at #3
From Baltimore Pike North or South:
1. Turn on to Saxer Ave. from Baltimore
Pike. Saxer Ave. dead-ends into Baltimore Pike in Springfield. (There is a
Swiss Farms milk store at the corner and across Baltimore Pike is a Gateway
Country store, Tweeter Car audio and Michael's Crafts.)
2. Follow Saxer Ave. to Powell Road. (Wawa on far right corner, Fire House
on immediate right before intersection, Gas station on far left hand corner.)
3. Turn right onto Powell Road. On the left hand side just past the Library
is the Springfield Police/Township Building.

M.A.C.K. AUCTION RULES AND STANDARDS
Seller's Rules:
1. Each and every item to be auctioned MUST be registered
by 12:00 noon. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
2. There will be a 70/30 split. 70% of the final selling price will go to the
seller, and 30% will go to M.A.C.K.
3. A minimum price of $1.00 per item/bag/box/etc. is retained by M.A.C.K. We
suggest you bag fish in quantities that will bring a good price.
4. All bids will be increments of $1.00.
5. Checks will be mailed to all sellers 10 to 14 days AFTER the auction. No
one will be paid the day of the auction. Please don't ask for it.
6. All dry goods must be in a CLEAN, good working condition, with no parts missing,
UNLESS LABELED AS SUCH.
7. Dry goods must be aquarium I reptile related.
8. All living material will be inspected by M.A.C.K. Those not meeting adequate
standards of size, health, etc. will not be accepted.
9. We suggest double bagging all living materials for the safely of the animal.
10. No twist ties or Zip-Loc bags will be accepted.
11. There will be a $1.00 charge for any item requiring re-bagging.
12. M.A.C.K. is NOT liable for lost, damaged, stolen, destroyed, or dead items.
M.A.C.K. will strive to protect all items to be auctioned.
13. ALL items MUST be labeled to include name of item, quantity, minimum bid,
sellers name and code, sex if possible, and if it is not working or is missing
parts. Labels will be supplied at registration.
14. Any and all items not claimed at the end of the auction become property
of M.A.C.K.
Buyer's
Rules:
1. CASH ONLY! NO CHECKS, NO CREDIT CARDS, NO IOUs. NO
EXCEPTION.
2. Volunteers WORKING THE AUCTION may "run a tab" and pay CASH at
the end of the auction or prior to leaving the building.
3. All sales paid at time bidding ends on that item.
4. All sales are final. If you have a problem with an item not working or missing
a part, and it was NOT stated on the item, contact the seller.
5. All items are sold "as is" and no warranty is intended or implied.
6. You are responsible to be sure you receive the correct change at the time
of the sale.
7. Reread rules #1-6.
8. Any and all items not claimed at end of the auction become property of M.A.C.K.
9. There is a $1.00 fee for bringing up something for auction out of turn.
EVERYONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING UP HIS OR HER OWN TRASH PLEASE.
DOOR PRIZES, RAFFLES, AND SALES TABLES WILL BE AVAILABLE DURING THE AUCTION FOR ALL TO ENJOY.
MANY PLANTS AND DRY GOODS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE TABLES.
NO LIVE FISH MAY BE SOLD ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES OTHER THAN THROUGH THE SANCTIONED AUCTION.
SOME FOOD AND SODAS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT A REASONABLE PRICE, AND WILL SUPPORT M.A.C.K.
WE NEED RUNNERS, CHECKS, CLEAN-UP HELP AND SETUP HELP. PLEASE HELP IN ANYWAY YOU CAN. WE ANTICIPATE OVER 500 ITEMS FOR SALE AND AT LEAST 200 OR SO PEOPLE TO ATTEND DURING THE DAY.
